SUSTAINABILITY

PROJECTS
WITH IMPACT
In 2022, we had the 40th anniversary of the day on which Mr. Robert Bachmann acquired the first land where Balaia Golf Village is located today. 40 years of stories to tell, friendships built for life and getting families closer.
Environmental concerns have also been present at Balaia Golf Village ever since. Despite the project challenges and difficulties faced, the apartments and houses, designed by Architect Graça Bachmann, were built respecting the surrounding landscape of pine trees, cork oaks and almond trees. The policy, still in place today for the new development phase, was “no trees could be cut or each cut had to be replaced by planting another two”.
